The 60th BFI London Film Festival was opened with the European Premiere of a British drama ‘A United Kingdom‘ directed by Amma Assante, starring Rosamund Pike and David Oyelowo.
After the press conference which took place at the May Fair Hotel, the cast including Amma Assante, Rosamund Pike, Jessica and David Oyelowo, Tom Felton, Laura Carmichael, Terry Pheto and Jack Devenport walked the red carpet of the Odeon Leicester Square theatre.
Rosamund, 37, appeared in the Givenchy couture white gown with a a feathered detail, dress split at the side to reveal black tuxedo trousers and high heels.
Director Amma Asante turned heads in her glamorous classic red dress, posing for photos alongside cast member Tom Felton, covered up in a dark coat and an autumnal scarf.
South African star Terry Pheto walked the red carpet in a multi-coloured Marianne Fassler dress that embodied the flavours of Africa.
David Oyelowo and his wife actress Jessica Oyelowo oozed glamour with David’s smart suit and Jessica’s strapless shimmering gown.
The former Downton Abbey actress, Laura Carmichael vowed the crowed on the red carpet, making an appearance in a gown by Stella McCartney.
Jack Davenport, Arnold Oceng and Floella Benjamin were also in attendance.
