Loving Vincent will be broadcast at the 61st BFI London Film Festival

The 61st BFI London Film Festival announced the UK premiere of Loving Vincent. The long anticipated film will be broadcast live from the National Gallery on Monday 9 October 2017. Tickets are already available on the official websites LovingVincent.Film and the BFI.

Loving Vincent is an extraordinary, fully painted animated feature, directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman starring Douglas Booth, Saoirse Ronan, Jerome Aidan Turner, Helen McCrory, Chris O’Dowd, Eleanor Tomlinson and John Sessions.

Loving Vincent explores the life and controversial death of Vincent van Gogh, told by the characters that inhabit the artist’s paintings. The intrigue unfolds through interviews with the characters and through dramatic reconstructions of the events leading up to his death.
